Norm Edwards is a photographer and web designer living in Montreal, Canada. Before becoming a photographer, he was a business manager in the auto industry and owner of several businesses. He served as a radio operator in the Canadian Armed Forces. While working to support his family, he also worked hard to get into movies and television landing jobs in radio commercials and as an extra in various motion pictures and TV shows (in both English and French). He also acted and danced in various theatre groups.

He never formally studied photography but developed his astute eye poring over the photography in magazines such as Playboy, National Geographic, Life, Vogue, and Vanity Fair, as well as studying the personal work of Herb Ritts, Ken Markus, Ansel Adams, Helmut Newton, David Doubillet, Annie Leibovitz, and Jerry Avenaim.
